FAQs

Let’s answer all your questions.

How much is shipping?

Shipping in the UK is free! I use Royal Mail tracked and signed, meaning you can be assured that your treasure arrives at your house safely and insured.

International shipping is £10 flat fee. Customers residing outside of the UK are responsible for any customs fees, import duty or VAT that may be applied to items.  Rates do vary from country to country so if in doubt or for further clarification, please contact your local customs authority.  I cannot accept any responsibility for delays due to customs.

Can I return any pieces?

Yes, if you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return this for a full refund (minus postage) within 30 days.

Do you offer re-sizing of ring?

Most rings can be re-sized by 2-3 UK sizes.  Some rings such as patterned bands and rings with certain stone settings cannot be re-sized, it is always best to check with us if you are unsure prior to purchase.  It is best to re-size your ring with your local jeweller, as they properly measure the finger to ensure a perfect fit.
However, if you do not have access to a jeweller, I can arrange re-sizing for gold and silver rings, but not platinum. Please note that the cost for this service is £50 and it will take up to 4 weeks. Please enquire about this service before you make your purchase.

Will my piece arrive ‘as new’?

Your item has a history and as it isn't new, it may show some signs of wear which is normal in pre-loved pieces and adds to their charm. I will detail the condition within the item description and will point out any obvious imperfections if applicable. Please bear this in mind before purchasing.
I work with a jeweller who assesses and restores any pieces that need extra care before being listed.

How do I care for my jewellery?

I would advise to remove jewellery when using body care products, spraying perfume or hairspray, bathing, swimming, and doing housework as chemicals and chlorine can cause damage.

It is also recommended to take off rings when carrying out manual work or gardening to avoid accidentally striking the hand against a hard surface.

To clean jewellery, use mild soap mixed with tepid water, along with a soft jewellery brush or cloth. However, be cautious with opal, turquoise, and pearl as they are porous and should not be soaked. Instead, wipe them with a damp soft cloth, avoiding extreme temperature changes. When not being worn, store your jewellery in a suitable jewellery box for safekeeping.
